It is dangerous for you to be here.

-> Il est dangereux pour toi d' être ici.


It is kind of you to accept my will.

->Il est très gentil à vous d' accepter ma demande.


Just like in english, we have different expressions for the two expressions above.


But many people tend to translate "of" by "de".

Which is not wrong in other cases, but here, "of" is "à".


Example where "of" is "de".

What kind of present do you like?

-> Quel genre de cadeau aimes-tu? (aimez-vous)

un présent = un cadeau

a will = un voeu (but = une demande, like a request in that case)
