How do you like coffee?

-> Comment aimez-vous votre café?

Answer : Je l'aime avec du sucre. (I like it with sugar)


But there is a difference in the following example :

How do you like your new coat?

Answer -> Oh, I like it very much !

In french we won't say : Combien aimes-tu ton nouveau manteau?
or "Comment aimes-tu ton nouveau manteau?

Answer : "Oh je l'aime beaucoup !"

Here, the english expression can not be translated directly in french, it is a very "english" expression.

We will say simply : "Votre nouveau manteau vous plaît-il?

Why "il" in the end of the sentence while we can simply ask :"Est-ce que vote nouveau manteau vous plaît?"

Because the particule "il" is used to insist.
